CANADA DAY AT THE QUALICUM BEACH LEGION

The Qualicum Beach Legion is proud to be one of the Qualicum Beach Canada 150 sponsors!

8:30 - 11:30 am Start your day off with their usual Saturday morning Pancake Breakfast. Adults $6.00; children 5-10 years $3.00, and under 5 years free.

11:00 am The Qualicum Beach Pipe Band will lead the Parade starting at the Civic Center parking lot; left onto Jones St.; right onto Second Ave.; left onto Memorial Ave.; right onto Village Way; right onto Condor Close and into the KSS Parking Lot.  Participants in the parade will include floats, horses, vintage cars, Seaside Cruisers, Dance School dancers, Navy League Cadets, and more!

Noon Opening Ceremonies on Veterans Way in front of the Legion garden. Look for the official Legion flags at the stage.

12:30 - 6:00 pm Come and enjoy concessions in the Legion Garden. $6.00 Hamburgers (with or without cheese) including fresh pan fried onions freshly made in front of your eyes! Or if you’d like something else, there will be $3.00 hot dogs, and choose those pan fried onions if you which. Soft drinks and $2.00 ice cream choices.

All along Veterans Way the Canada 150 Committee has planned family activities, historical walk, musical entertainment including a street dance at 7:00 pm featuring Zachary Stevenson (of Buddy Holly fame).
