Saturday, November 30th, 2013
10:00 PM to 5:00 PM

The Museum at Campbell River is hosting its second annual Festival of Trees. The trees have all been sponsored and decorated by local businesses, organizations and families, and each has its own unique theme.

The opening evening is Friday, November 28 at 5:00pm and the Changing Gallery will be alight with 20 gorgeous trees for everyone to enjoy.  And if you bring a chair, you can stay and watch the Big Truck Parade from the Museum property!

Awards will be given to the decorators: Most Unique, Most Traditional, Best of Festival, and People’s Choice and the public are invited to come in and cast their vote. The trees will be on view in the Museum’s changing gallery throughout December, and the Museum will be open daily from 10:00am to 5:00p.m, except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

A running model train set up by the North Island Railroaders and an exhibit of nostalgic toys will also be on display in the gallery, as well as Ron Francis’ one of a kind collection of hand crafted wooden toys to complete the festive scene.
