Start the day with a pancake breakfast and see the world famous Transformations By The Shore wood carving competition. Take the kids to the Huck Finn Fishing Derby and the Children's Festival featuring entertainer Will Stroet. Participate in the Salmon City Jam skateboard competition. Watch the crazy 1st annual Canada Day Bed Race, along with the Belt Sander Races. Enjoy free entertainment and music all day from Karly Summers, Eric Harper, Emily Spiller, Chantel Upshaw, Stef Lang, Wil, Big Fun and more leading up to the Quality Foods Festival of Lights Fireworks display. And don't forget about one of the biggest Canada Day parades on Vancouver Island!
