Talk summary:

Canadian involvement in the TMT project is one of the most exciting developments in Canadian astronomy in the past century. This talk will focus on the remarkable science that this telescope will address, as well as the amazing technology that Canadian scientists are developing. The timing of this talk coincides with a funding request to the federal cabinet for participation in this project.
