The Butchart Gardens' summer festival presents Canadian singer/songwriter Ruth Moody, co-founder of the Wailin' Jennys.
This open air concert takes place on the Concert Lawn stage. Come sit on a bench, or bring a blanket and sit on the lawn. The summer entertainment program is part of your general admission ticket.
About Ruth Moody
Ruth Moody is a two-time Juno Award winning singer-songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Founding member of the internationally renowned, Billboard-charting trio The Wailin� Jennys, and former lead singer of the Canadian roots band Scruj MacDuhk, she has performed in sold-out venues around the world, made numerous critically-acclaimed albums, received five Juno awards nominations, and has appeared more than a dozen times on the American national radio show A Prairie Home Companion.
Ruth recently had the opportunity to record vocal tracks on Mark Knopfler's new CD and he on hers, and she opened for him on his latest European tour. www.ruthmoody.com
