The Butchart Gardens' summer festival presents Curl. The ladies play rock, blues and more!
This open-air concert takes place on the Concert Lawn stage. Come sit on a bench, or bring a blanket and sit on the lawn.
The summer entertainment program is part of your general admission ticket. There is no extra charge for lovely evenings on the Concert Lawn or for Firework Saturdays.
About Curl
R&B 'Sweethearts' CURL dish up powerhouse vocals and classic groovy blues a la Etta James, Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin.
Active in and around Victoria, CURL was a featured act at Victoria�s 2009 Loudspeaker Festival; at the 2010 Rosedale Ridge mini-festival at Cowichan Station; and in March 2012 they opened a show featuring Juno-nominated, International Blues Challenge competitor Bill Johnson and award-winning boogie-woogie pianist David Vest.
CURL was also a featured act at the 2012 Spring Blues Party, presented by the Haro Strait Music Society.
CURL is composed of Helen Davies on vocals and guitar; Dee Cooper on keyboards; Susan Johnson on bass guitar; and Christa Rossner on drums.
