The Butchart Gardens' summer festival presents Boogaloo en Orbit, a six-piece Latin party-dance band from Victoria.

This open-air concert takes place on the Concert Lawn stage. Come sit on a bench, or bring a blanket and sit on the lawn.

The summer entertainment program is part of your general admission ticket. There is no extra charge for lovely evenings on the Concert Lawn or for Firework Saturdays.

About Boogaloo en Orbit

OOGALOO en ORBIT is a 6-piece LATIN party-dance band from Victoria BC Canada. They are THE party dance band in Victoria BC because of their great originals, their choice of cover material and world-class musicians from Latin America. They have crafted a new style based on Twist, Rumba, 60�s New York Boogaloo, Cuban Son Montuno and Mexican Cumbia. It is a very upbeat, danceable fusion using afro-cuban percussionnists combined with an R&B band.

Their music is original and their compositions describe life between languages and cultures in the US/Mexican border regions. Their lineup is from all over the Americas with people from USA, Colombia, Mexico and of course Canada.
