The Butchart Gardens' summer festival presents the B.C. Fiddle Orchestra.

This open-air concert takes place on the Concert Lawn stage. Come sit on a bench, or bring a blanket and sit on the lawn.

The summer entertainment program is part of your general admission ticket. There is no extra charge for lovely evenings on the Concert Lawn or for Firework Saturdays.

About the B.C. Fiddle Orchestra

In 1994, Daniel Lapp formed the first B.C. Fiddle Orchestra (BCFO) with 10 of his brightest students. This exceptional group was invited to perform in front of an audience of 60,000 people at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria.

Since that time, hundreds of young people have learned and performed in BCFO ensembles, playing a diverse repertoire drawn from the world�s great contemporary and traditional fiddle cultures. Ensembles of Daniel's students have recorded albums and played extensively throughout B.C.
