About Black Angus
Gareth Hurwood (lead vocals and guitar) and Alex MacCuaig (stand-up bass and harmony vocals) have made a lasting and impassioned musical side-career playing material that ranges from Irish folk to the New Age blues of Harry Manx at local pubs like the Irish Times, the Bard and Banker, and the Penny Farthing. The songs of Stan Rogers, Christy Moore, Van Morrison, David Francey, and others have found their way into the mix, along with some original compositions.
