The Butchart Gardens' summer festival presents Uncle Wiggly's Hot Shoes Blues Band.

This open-air concert takes place on the Concert Lawn stage. Come sit on a bench, or bring a blanket and sit on the lawn.

The summer entertainment program is part of your general admission ticket.

Uncle Wiggly's Hot Shoes Blues Band won the Memphis Blues Challenge in White Rock in 2014 and represented BC at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in January 2015!

With a career that began humbly at a University of Victoria Sub Pub, this band led the live music, independant recording and producing scene in Victoria BC in the 1980's. They became RCA recording Artists, received rave reviews of live performances along the way and shared stages with Paul Butterfield, Joe Cocker, Stevie Ray Vaughan and the great Muddy Waters, leaving an indelible legacy of 21 recorded tracks that still stand the test of time.

Uncle Wiggly's Hot Shoes Blues Band released a brand new CD on this year's tour...it was recorded last summer and over the winter in Victoria and features some brand new originals and timeless covers. The band includes original members Hank "Uncle Wiggly" Lionhart-Lead Vocals, Norm "the Doctor" Piercy-Bass, Mark "Westcoast Comerford"-Guitar, Dave "the Duck" Rowse-Sax, Brent "Watermellon" Hutchinson-Sax and newest member bass player, Norm Piercy's son Tylor "Kid Cadillac" Piercy-Drums.
