The Butchart Gardens' summer festival presents soul, funk, Latin, reggae and good fun with Groove Kitchen!
This open-air concert takes place on the Concert Lawn stage. Come sit on a bench, or bring a blanket and sit on the lawn.
The summer entertainment program is part of your general admission ticket.
This five-piece band is shaking up clubs and dance halls with its irrepressible mix of funk, soul and Latin music. Groove Kitchen is admired for its tight, rhythmically in-the-pocket sound.
Dancers love GK’s mix of music, which ranges from interpretations of classics by Maceo Parker, Steven Wonder and James Brown to reinventions of contemporary tunes by Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake.
Groove Kitchen features an line-up of experienced Victoria musicians: David Anderson guitar/vocals, Pedro Arbour drums/vocals, Steve Moyer bass/vocals, Eric Hughes saxophones and Adrian Chamberlain keyboards.
