On Saturday September 27th at the Queens local burlesque troupe Sweet Tooth Events is hosting their annual Burlesque for BurlyCon fundraiser. Featuring performances by local performers and the producers of this special event Eye Candy and Betty Kruger. This sultry and sassy duo are committed to furthering the art of burlesque having created a home troupe for talented new Nanaimo performers featuring scintillating, sexy and silly performances sure to entertain your crew!
An eclectic performance sure to delight art lovers, come support the girls while enjoying some giggles. Live and Silent auction, contests and prizes. Funds raised will go to cover the costs of performers attending the annual burlesque convention.
BurlyCon, October 9-12, 2014, is an annual burlesque social and educational convention held every fall in the Seattle area. As the educational arm of the burlesque arts circuit, BurlyCon provides a unique opportunity to learn, practice, network, and thrive in a supportive (and fun!) community environment. There’s simply no other single event where attendees can access such multifaceted teaching talent to explore the practice and the theory of burlesque.
