The Cowichan Estuary Nature Centre opened its doors to the public in April 2012 and has since served over 8000 local and international visitors, providing opportunities for learning about and interacting with the Cowichan Estuary, the Cowichan Watershed, and the critters that make their home here. We are hosting this Beer and Burger fundraiser to continue our role as environmental educators, hosting all aged school groups for hands-on learning, and kids camps this summer.
A $20 ticket gets you a burger (beef, chicken, or veggie), a side of fries or salad, and your choice of beer, wine or cider to drink.
The silent auction will begin at 5, ending by 7:30 so come early to bid on the exciting items and services the businesses of Cowichan Valley have provided in support of the Nature Centre.
Tickets available at Volume One Bookstore and the Cowichan Land Trust office in Duncan, or Cowichan Estuary Nature Centre in Cowichan Bay. Tickets also available at the door.
