The Orion Series in Fine Arts presents baritone Brett Polegato and pianist Robert Kortgaard for a special concert and masterclass. The duo will conduct a masterclass with UVic School of Music voice students at 2:30 PM.
The concert, “Transatlantic voyage: Songs from here and there,” will start at 8 PM and will feature art songs, parlour tunes, music theatre and silver screen delights from both sides of the Atlantic.
Baritone Brett Polegato appears regularly on the world's most distinguished stages and his artistic sensibility has earned him the highest praise from audiences and critics.
Pianist Robert Kortgaard travels the world as an in-demand soloist and collaborative artist, having appeared with most of the country’s leading orchestras and recital societies.
