Esquimalt is branching out to protect our urban forest. Throughout the year, numerous opportunities will be available for public to work alongside staff to remove invasive species, plant native species and trees. Many events are hosted in conjunction with the Greater Victoria Green Team.
Fall events have been scheduled for:
Saturday, October 17th 9:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Saxe Point Park
Saturday, November 21st 9:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Esquimalt's Gorge Park
Esquimalt's National Tree Day Celebration is a part of the Branch Out program. Branch Out is focused on protecting and caring Esquimalt's Urban Forest through leadership, education and community engagement. For additional information on Branch Out, please click here.
