Celebrated author Caroline Woodward will give a slideshow presentation and sign her new book Light Years: Memoir of a Modern Lighthouse Keeper in Tofino. There will be complimentary beverages and snacks. Book sales courtesy of Mermaid Tales Bookshop.

Light Years tells Caroline's story about leaving security for adventure and self-rediscovery. The romance of modern lighthouse keeping is told with eloquent introspection, as it gives way to the practical realities of isolation, physical labour—and learning to live a happy, healthy and creative life on the lights despite all of this.
