BOATsmart! Coast-to-Coast Tour at Canadian Tire

The BOATsmart! Coast-to-Coast Safe Boating Team will be stopping at Canadian Tire in Nanaimo! They will be talking boating safety, demonstrating safety equipment and administering the Pleasure Craft Operator Card exam on-site! You can take your exam, pay only if you pass, and be on the water later that day!
The team will also be asking Nanaimo to share their boating, cottage, on-the-water moments through Twitter and Instagram, with the hashtag #BoatSmartMoment to send disadvantaged kids to camp. For every #BoatSmartMoment share BOATsmart! will donate $1 to kids camps.
We put the challenge to Nanaimo to post as many moments as they can to send kids to camp! It's a great chance for the city to showcase their love of boating to all of Canada! The Coast-to-Coast tour started in June in St.John's Newfoundland and has visited over 100 communities across the country. The team will is travelling with a Nissan Titan V8 Truck and a Bayliner Element that will be on display at the event. We are only in Nanaimo for 1 day! Don't miss it!
