"In honour of the late master of cinema and weather reporter David Lynch, we’re hosting a special screening of his Blue Velvet. The 1986 neo-noir mystery thriller earned Lynch an Academy Award nomination for Best Director. The once underappreciated film, written by Lynch, follows a college student who returns to his hometown to visit his ailing father and finds himself caught up in a mystery and a relationship with a lounge singer. The star packed cast includes Kyle MacLachlan, Isabella Rossellini, Dennis Hopper, and Laura Dern.
