blue dirt girl is gypsy soul moving from jazzy to swing and back again. blue dirt girl is releasing our first album, Crazy Beautiful, and heading out on a Vancouver Island tour August 21-28th.

We will be a touring trio with Kathryn Sutherland on vocals/electric guitar, Albert Klassen on electric/stand up bass/vocals, Jason Overy on drums/percussion/vocals and special guests, for select shows, Marty Howe Music on flute and chromatic harmonica and, hopefully if dates line up Simon Kendall joining us on keys and vocals.

August 21- Nanaimo House Concert on Piper's Lagoon. Doors open at 7PM, Music at 7:30 PM & 9:00 PM. Tickets $20. Reserve by emailing [email protected] BYOB

August 22- Gladstone Brewing Co., 244-4th St. Courtenay. blue dirt girl is very excited to have Josh Klassen, Courtney based, KLAME, opening the show for blue dirt girl at the Brewing Co. More details soon.

August 25- blue dirt girl Fundraiser for Stolen Hearts Documentary Project at Duncan Showroom with Longevity John. Go to stolenhearts.ca and read about this most important documentary. blue dirt girl will give a portion of every ticket sold to Stolen Hearts.

August 26- Enrico Winery 7 pm concert among the vineyards. More details soon.

August 27th- Guesthouse Bistro @ Earth Club Factory on Denman Island, British Columbia More details soon. Crazy Beautiful album and fabulous blue dirt girl merchandise will be on sale on the tour and through our web site in August.
