Winchester Galleries and Blue Bridge Repertory Theatre (BBRT) are pleased to announce their Fifth Annual Art Exhibition and Sale from Thursday October, 4 to Saturday, October 6 at Winchester galleries� Oak Bay location, 2260 Oak Bay Ave. An annual fund-raiser for Blue Bridge Repertory Theatre, this exhibition features the work of more than 20 of Victoria�s and Canada�s leading visual artists with over 60 works donated to assist Blue Bridge launch its 5th, expanded �Dream Season�


�From the beginning of BBRT, both the Winchester Galleries and the visual artists of Victoria they represent have been amongst our most dedicated and strongest allies said BBRT Founder and Producing Artistic Director Brian Richmond. �In our efforts to build a world class, professional, classical theatre company for the people of Victoria, these enormously talented artists have contributed more than one hundred thousand dollars of their work to help support the formation of BBRT. � �It is a testament, he went on to say that to the great spirit of cooperation and support that exists amongst all who are involved in the arts community of Victoria.�


Interested viewers can preview and place early bids on all the work on sale at Winchester Galleries from 10 am to 5:30 pm, Thursday and Friday October 4 and 5 and Saturday, October 6 from 10 am to 1 pm. There will be a wine and cheese reception on Saturday, October 29 from 1 pm to 5:30 pm with the staff and Board of Directors of BBRT on hand to provide information on the work for sale and BBRT while harpist Elizabeth Ely and pianist Brooke Maxwell adds to the elegant, yet casual, environment on which the Winchester Galleries has built its reputation.


Featuring our recently donated works by such artists as Nathan Birch, Antoine Bittar, Joe Coffey, Cynthia Cooper, Jeff Moloy, Abe Murley, Manish Om� Prakash, P.K. Page, Brad Pasutti, Joseph Plaskett, Avis Rasmussen, Deirdre Roberts, Iloa Scott and Frances Semple as well as many more! Interested art lovers and collectors are sure to find work that suits both their tastes and their budgets.


Also, continuing with the new initiative from last year that proved so popular, interested buyers will also be provided the opportunity to enter the Art Lottery which features several works from BBRT�s past four years of inventory and which carries works valued up to $ 8,500 which may be secured at a fraction of their Appraised Market Value.
