Collisions with windows are considered to be one of the largest sources of human-caused mortality for birds in North America. An estimated 25 million birds are killed annually in collisions with buildings in Canada and 365-988 million in the U.S. Krista de Groot will explore why birds collide with glass, the scope and severity of the issue, and what you can do about it in and around your home and business.
