DERAILLEUR ADJUSTMENT

This course will teach you:
-How to inspect your drivetrain and derailleurs;
-How to tell when your derailleurs require an adjustment;
-How to make adjustments on your front and rear derailleur;
-How to know when to take your bike in for servicing.

This is a knowledge based clinic, and we will provide you with all of the materials you might need. Come with your questions and a sense of adventure.

Bringing your own bike is not necessary; there will be one available for demonstrations.

Help us stay green – bring your own coffee mug and we’ll provide the rest

Please meet at the MEC bike patio (red dragon) for entrance to the store as this clinic is held afterhours.

Join us every Sunday morning for a freshly brewed coffee and Bike Maintenance 201 Clinic from 9:30-11:00am*

These courses are designed for those wanting to learn how to work on their own bike, and focuses on one of four topics per clinic: Drivetrain, Derailleurs, Brakes, or Wheel Truing (sessions are held on a rotating basis).

Please note that all of our 201 clinics are only $20, and are limited to 8 people*.

*Wheel truing clinic is from 9:30-11:30am, and is limited to 4 people.
