Beverley McKeen has released 3 full length CDs of original songwriting. She gets regular Canadian and US radio rotation, while performing solo and with her founded group, The Sweet Band. With stellar musicianship from the likes of 'Eagle Eyes' guitarist/singer/engineer and gold record guy, Ray Harvey and 'Accurate' Andy Okell, the west coast's best drummer, also of fusion powerhouse, 'Birds of Fire' and CURL, Beverley McKeen beautifully sings her well-crafted and delivered multi-genre songwriting to engaged audiences everywhere. She is the Cowichan Juno award winner for Best Musical Production, Folk, in 2013 at the Duncan Showroom. Her song 'Midnight Man', from 'Auracles', her third studio album, was nominated as Pop Song of the Year, 2016, for the Vancouver Island Music Awards. McKeen is also the closing credits songwriter of "The Diary' a soon to be released docudrama, by Hollywood Movie and TV Producer (A-Team) Louie Lawless, (Leo Rivers). The Sweet Band plays Islands Folk Fest 2020 and 39 Days of July, the 29th, at 7:00pm. You can also catch Beverley hosting her RamadaJam, in its 4th year at The River Rock Bar and Grill, Wednesdays, 7-10, (all but the final Wed. of the month) Duncan Ramada.
