Berry Mania Family Fun Festival

This family fun festival, for everyone of all ages, is a fund raiser and promotion project of the Ladysmith Resources Centre Association (LRCA). The Centre provides much needed support in our Community such as: Dad's Group, Children's Literacy Programs, Food Bank, Mothers group, counselling services and more. We have a children's entertainer at the festival who brings out the child in everyone. Be prepared for music, singing, banjo playing, hand clapping, stories and laughter. There will be crafts galore , a slippery slide, face painting, Zucchini race car making, pie eating contest, giant jenga, street hockey, bike rodeo, a local singer and more.

Create a team and sign up for the Amazing Race. There will be 12 activities to complete, so stop by the LRCA and register early. Enter our Home Made Fruit Wine Contest to showcase your wine and perhaps you will win a prize for being the winning brew master. We will also be selling raffle tickets for $5.00, prize for gift certificates for the 49th Parallel Grocery Store and $20 tickets for a chance to win a flight anywhere WestJet flies. There will be berries for sale and many berry products. Come visit our vendors and stock up your shelves.
