Benedictine Spirituality

The Rule of st. Benedict is a guide to the spiritual life since the sixth century. Benedictine spirituality seeks to heal the brokenness of our overworked, overstimulated, over scheduled modern world. It calls for deep listening, prayer and contemplation, real community, genuine hospitality, balance and wholeness, participation in creation and leisure. Thousands of people around the world live this spirituality. Come and join us in exploring the values still relevant today in this ancient rule.
Sessions are held twice a month on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month in Tabor on the ground floor of the main building from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Everyone is welcome and tea and coffee as well as goodies are provided. Sister Pat Brady Pat Brady is a Benedictine Sister of the House of Bread Monastery. She has done work with Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) and assisted in marriage preparation. She has provided spiritual direction and done retreat work with individuals and groups for over 25 years.
