This summer we'll reprise the first three episodes of Canada's most enduring comedy series, all of which premiered at the Belfry.

In Letter from Wingfield Farm we'll meet stockbroker turned gentleman farmer Walt Wingfield as he sets up shop in Persephone Township and meets his incredibly colourful neighbours -- all performed to perfection by Beattie, Rod that is.

In the second play, Wingfield's Progress, Walt, nominally settled in his new home, must rouse his fellow farmers to tackle urban sprawl and hold the wolves of progress at bay.

After two profit-free seasons at the farm Walt decides he must take the economic reins and turn his and his neighbours' fortunes around in Wingfield's Folly. Stockbrokers taking on the economy, what could possibly go wrong?
