Creative BC is traveling to communities across British Columbia to announce the launch of new funding opportunities, discuss upcoming deadlines, and build relationships with music industry partners across the province. Join Brenda Grunau, the Manager of the BC Music Fund, for an overview of Creative BC, details on BC Music Fund programs and instructions on how to apply.

Info sessions will be held in Victoria, Nanaimo, Kelowna, Prince George, Smithers, and Nelson in January and February, with other locations soon to be added.
These info sessions are intended for BC artists and industry professionals, not-for-profit organizations, music companies, BC-based festivals, venues, event producers and presenters.



About the BC Music Fund
The Province of BC is providing a $15-million grant toward the creation of a BC Music Fund to support the growth of BC's music industry. The BC Music Fund will be administered throughCreative BC over the next two years with the goals of stimulating direct investment, job creation, music tourism, increased regional activity and the export of BC music. A full complement of funding programs will support BC musicians, live music presenters, music companies, and the full diversity of BC’s music industry.
