BC SPCA Wild ARC Paws and Claws Film Festival

Paws and Claws is the first wildlife film festival in Western Canada, and aims to promote awareness, knowledge and understanding of wildlife, habitat, people and nature through excellence in film, television, and other media.
The Paws and Claws film festival is a fundraiser that is in support of BC SPCA Wild ARC. Wild ARC ? the Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre is operated by the BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. As the only wildlife rehabilitation centre on southern Vancouver Island, Wild ARC treats over 1,800 wild animals annually from throughout the region.
The Paws and Claws Film Festival live viewing is taking place on November 2nd, 2011. It will be held in Gibson Auditorium, in the Young Building of Camosun College (Lansdowne campus). Viewing is by donation. The viewing will start at 7:00 pm.
