We run SPCA-hosted parties for kids turning 7-12.

The party is $160 for two hours ($150 if your child is a kids club member) and we are able to accommodate 10 kids (including the birthday child and siblings).

Based on our activities and tour through the shelter, we don’t advise having siblings younger than 5 or 6 at the party.

We run parties on Saturdays and Sundays (depending on host availability) and our times slots are 11:30 – 1:30 or 2:15-4:15. We decorate the room and supply plates, cups, utensils, napkins, and a cake knife. We also provide an SPCA host who will do all of the clean up and run the crafts, games, and tour.

The party schedule is:

1) SPCA colouring/activity sheets as guests are arriving

2) Welcome to the BC SPCA chat

3) Craft – making buttons

4) Shelter talk

5) Take kids on a private shelter tour (we are only able to promise 1 spot for an adult on the tour. However, we can have more adults present in the party room)

6) Celebration time (this is when kids would eat the food parent provide, open presents, etc.)

At the end of the party, the guests are given an SPCA goodie bag!
