To celebrate International Music Day, the British Columbia Boys Choir will present a FREE concert featuring more than 60 members of the Choir. The performance follows an all-day fundraising event called Walk-A-Song, where members will walk and sing at schools and seniors homes and the library along their 10 km route in central Nanaimo.
You are encouraged to pledge your support of the event by making a monetary donation to the British Columbia Boys Choir, PO Box 321, Nanaimo, BC V9R 5L3 or call us at 1-888-909-8282 to use your Visa or MasterCard. A tax receipt can be issued for your gift.
Conductor Patricia Plumley says "Walking and singing are good for the heart and soul, and combining them is a great adventure for our boys".
