Once in a lifetime opportunity! Join renowned Canadian master artist and naturalist, Robert Bateman as he explores ideas and techniques that make for successful artwork. Open to artists of any medium, this is not a typical studio-style, painting class, but a spoken lecture and powerpoint seminar. Mr. Bateman will share his life stories, inspirations, compositions while also demonstrating the art techniques behind his work.

Travel with Robert through his adventures in art and nature from the young age of 12 through to his experience as an 88 year old still practising his craft .This Bateman Master Artist Seminar also includes a photography session and critiques of participant’s artwork, with Mr Bateman offering suggestions and feedback from his unique perspective as a world renowned artist.

All seminar sessions will be held at The Parkside Hotel & Spa’s beautiful City Club Lounge, the hotel’s crown jewel atop the 8th floor overlooking spectacular ocean and city panoramas. Relax on the exclusive, access-only deck and lounge and enjoy the best of Victoria.
