Ballet Étoile: Victoria’s new professional ballet company presents the world premiere of CLEOPATRA, an original ballet in two acts: a compelling portrayal of the most powerful and notorious woman of the ancient world. A legend even in her own time, Cleopatra’s legacy is timeless. A woman of great courage and intelligence Cleopatra is a loving mother, a powerful warrior Queen, and a living Goddess.

Exiled by her own brother at the age of eighteen, she returns to Egypt to take control of her throne and continues in her rapid rise to power, fighting for both her children and her Empire. She risks everything in her strategic political alliances and scandalous love affairs with Julius Caesar and Marc Antony, and pays the ultimate price for following her heart. Fighting for a voice in a world ruled by men, Cleopatra stands alone as a courageous, intelligent leader, who dared to take on the Roman Empire, and for a brief moment held the fate of the Western world in her hands.
