Your holidays just got a lot sweeter because B. Gingerbread Homes has come to town! B. Gingerbread Homes is an annual Christmas event, raising funds for the Nanaimo Salvation Army. We have gingerbread decorating and activities for kids with all the candy, icing and gingerbread you need! Help us decorate 2 gingerbread houses that will get entered into our amatuer competition. PART GINGERBREAD HOUSE COMPETITION. PART HANDS ON KIDS ACTIVITIES. ALL FUN.

Ways to join in the fun: - visit the B. Gallant Homes team at Kris Kringle to help decorate a Community Entry into the competition - Meet with the six foot tall gingerbread man mascot - Decorate gingerbread houses at the Vancouver Island Conference Center - Win HeliJet tickets to Vancouver by donating to the Salvation Army - Enter our colouring contest - Vote on your favorite gingerbread house.

All the proceeds of the event are going directly to the Nanaimo Salvation Army’s Housing programs. The money will help with cold weather and emergency shelters, housing programs and support services for community members with barriers to housing. BUILD. DECORATE. GIVE. B. Gallant Homes, and their partners of the event Nanaimo Ensuite, Vancouver Island Real Estate Board, Slegg Lumber, Port Place Thrifty Foods, K2 Stone and the Vancouver Island Conference Center are inviting everyone to participate.

To join in on the magic, come out to any of the following events: Kris Kringle Events at Beban Park: gingerbread cookie sales throughout the market from November 17th-20th and Community Entry decorating from 12:00-4:00 on November 19th and 20th

Amateur Gingerbread Houses at Vancouver Island Conference Center : 12:00-4:00 pm Nov 26th-27th, Dec 3rd-4th, Dec 11th-12 and Dec 17th-18th Kids Decorating Activities at Vancouver Island Conference Center: Saturdays from 12:00-4:00 pm Nov 26th, Dec 3rd, Dec 11th and Dec 17th while quantities last.
