Thu, Aug 27th , 7-9pm, Alberni Valley Words on Fire! Spoken word open mic featuring Stephen Novik Stephen bills himself as the Eccentric Edmontonion although he has been entertaining us at Alberni Valley Words on Fire for more than three years. He is active in the local theatre as well has performed for ArtRave. He will be launching his second chapbook of poetry, I Kill Me Sometimes.
As usual, promises to be entertaining! Open mike, showcasing our local writers, will start at 7:00 p.m. Sign up at the door. Beverages of your choice are available at Char's starting at 4:00pm.
