Wed, Nov 18th, 6-9pm, Alberni Valley Transition Town Society 6pm mtg, 7pm FILM: This Changes Everything NEW YORK, TORONTO – SEPT 2, 2015 – This Changes Everything, Abramorama and FilmBuff announced today the global release campaign for Avi Lewis’ game-changing documentary film, THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING, based on the critically acclaimed non- fiction best-seller by award-winning journalist and author, Naomi Klein.

Shot in 9 countries over the course of 4 years, THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING will have its World Premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival on September 13, 2015. FilmBuff is handling worldwide sales for the film and has presold all Canadian rights to Video Services Corp. (VSC). Abramorama and FilmBuff are set to launch the U.S. release in early October.

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING presents seven powerful portraits of communities on the front lines of both fossil fuel extraction and the climate crisis it is driving, from Montana’s Powder River Basin to the Alberta Tar Sands, from the coast of South India to Beijing and beyond. Interwoven with these stories of struggle is Klein’s narration, connecting the carbon in the air with the economic system that put it there. The film builds to its most controversial and exciting idea: that we can seize the existential crisis of climate change to transform our failed economic system into something radically better.
