A highlight of Aventa's 2013/14 season is the production of Rolf Wallin�s Strange News, a work that confronts the challenging issue of child soldiers. Norway�s leading composer Rolf Wallin and Ugandan actor Arthur Kisenyi join Aventa in the presentation of this work which features video, live electronics, surround sound and the participation of local media. This event will also feature works from two remarkable Canadian composers, Victoria�s Christopher Butterfield and Alberta/New York composer Zosha di Castri.
