Mount Washington Professional Ski Patrol is one again partnering with Avalanche Canada and Adventure Smart to bring Avalanche Awareness Days to Mount Washington. The weekend will feature two days of fun and interaction for all abilities to learn about snow safety in a mountain environment.
Avalanche Awareness days includes avalanche beacon demonstration with competitions to find your prize with your beacon! The Canadian Avalanche Rescue Dog Association will also be on site to conduct avalanche rescue dog demonstrations. Kids are able to meet some of the heroes of avalanche rescue!
Drop by the AdventureSmart booth located beside the ticket kiosk on January 18 or 19 to elevate your avalanche education and snow safety.
