Reading their poems, stories, and memoirs they are guaranteed to entertain you with humour, drama and pathos.
Featuring local writer Pam Mann. She will be reading from her book "Days of Small Things" , a compilation of her memories from growing up in the desert outback, and the pioneering work her father and mother did among the Aboriginals in Western Australia in the 1940's and '50's. The book has been published in Canada as well as Australia. Proceeds from this book will go towards several charitable organizations. Doors open at 6:00, readings start at 7:00. Bring your poetry, prose, storytelling and songs and get ready to entertain and be entertained. Admittance fee of $5.00 covers coffee tea and a free draw. http://alberni.ca/events/7311
