Wednesday, April 30th, 7-9pm, AV Words on Fire! Spoken word open mic featuring Libbie Morin
Featuring the writings and Spoken Word of local talent. Our profiled author is well-known Port Albernian Libbie Morin. Libbie honed her skills with local instructor Derek Hanebury at North Island College, winning the E. Bickle Award and most recently has been published in the anthology Living Artfully: Reflections from the Far West Coast. While many of her stories are based on her life experiences, she also is known to write fantasy! Doors open at 6:30 and open mike begins at 7:00. Admission is by donation and refreshments are available for purchase. Derek Hanebury will be this month�s emcee.
