Words on Fire is pleased to have author Chris Lowther as featured writer on November 27 at Char's Landing on Argyle Street.  This Tofino writer is author of three books of poems,has edited two anthologies and been published in numerous others as well as literary magazines across the nation. She recently has been awarded the Rainy Coast Arts Award for Significant Accomplishment by the Pacific Rim Arts Society, recognizing her dedication to her craft. Chris will be reading from her newly launched book Born Out of This.  Check out her blog - christinelowther.blogspot.ca. Open mike will start out the evening at 7:00.  Doors open at 6:30 with refreshments available.  This will be a memorable evening so arrive early to join in the fun, and to share and listen to our own West Coast writers.
