Authors Out Loud: Kathy Page, Leon Rooke and John Metcalf share their work

Kathy Page, who teaches in the Creative Writing department at VIU, is the author of seven novels, including Alphabet, a finalist for the Governor General’s Award.
Her story collection, Paradise & Elsewhere was nominated for the Giller Prize in 2014, as was her latest collection, The Two of Us.
CanLit icon Leon Rooke is a Governor General's Award winner, and has published 28 books and nearly 300 short stories. This fall sees the release of a collection of novellas and stories, Swinging Through Dixie.
According to Alice Munro, John Metcalf "has written some of the best stories ever published in this country." In past decades, his energies have been focused on his criticism and editing. The Museum at the End of the World is his first new collection of fiction in nearly 30 years.
