Cynthia Flood's fourth collection of short stories, Red Girl Rat Boy (Biblioasis 2013), was shortlisted for the Ethel Wilson fiction award in the BC Book Prizes and long-listed for the Frank O'Connor Short Story Award.
January Magazine, Quill & Quire, and the Globe & Mail all named Red Girl as one of 2013's best books of short fiction, and the CBC identified Flood as "One of ten Canadian women writers you need to read now." Renée Sarojini Saklikar writes thecanadaproject, a life-long poem chronicle that includes poetry, fiction, and essays. Published work from the project appears in journals, anthologies, and newspapers.
The first completed book from thecanadaproject is Children of Air India, un/authorized exhibits and interjections, winner of the 2014 Canadian Authors Literary Award for poetry.
