Author Paula Wild: Living in Cougar Country in Tofino

Vancouver Island is known not only for having the highest density of cougars, but also the most aggressive cougar population in North America. Join author Paula Wild as she gives a slideshow presentation that explores our evolving relationship with this enigmatic animal, and signs copies of her new book, 'The Cougar: Beautiful, Wild and Dangerous' (Douglas & McIntyre), at the Clayoquot Sound Community Theatre in Tofino. This presentation is brought to you by the Raincoast Education Society, with books for sale by Mermaid Tales Bookshop. Doors open at 7pm, and admission is $5 at the door.
