Heads up hockey fans! Sportscaster extraordinaire, former Hockey Night in Canada host, and current Hometown Hockey host Ron MacLean is going to be coming to Bolen Books. He'll be shaking hands and talking hockey while he signs copies of his newest book, Hockey Towns, which goes on sale October 20th. This is his second book, his first since 2011's Cornered.

In Cornered, MacLean took us behind the scenes of a life in broadcast journalism, sharing some up-close-and-personal insights from his early career as a radio announcer and weather forecaster in Alberta, all the way through his rise to national notoriety as the host of CBC's Hockey Night in Canada.

In Hockey Towns, he reaches out from coast to coast to tell the story of Canada's sport through the people who live it - coaches, players, refs, hockey parents - Canadians from towns and cities across the country who breathe hockey. These are stories of highs and lows, of tragedy and triumph.
