The St. Luke's Players will stage a haunting tale in March 2012: "I'll Be Back Before Midnight".

Play Synopsis: A young woman, Jan, is brought to a lonely farmhouse by her husband Greg to recover from a nervous breakdown. But frightening things start to happen almost as soon as they arrive. Then Greg's lustful sister, Laura, with whom he seems to have an unnaturally close relationship, appears unexpectedly. There is also George, the rather strange old farmer who lives nearby, with his tales of murders and ghosts in the neighbourhood. And then there are the flickering lights, the mysterious heartbeats, the hand at the window, the blood on the floor, the corpse in the hallway . . . a nightmare, with twist after twist.

Jan Sanderson: 20's to 30's; recently released from institution after complete break down; holding herself together with medication; very nervous
Greg Sanderson: Jan's husband; 20's to 30's; geologist researching how stone age tools were made for Jan's father, athletic, with many secrets
George Willowby: 40's to 50's; neighbouring farmer who owns the cottage where Greg and Jan are staying, delights in telling jokes and ghost stories, has a fondness for whiskey
Laura Sanderson: Greg's sister; 20's to 30's; attractive, sophisticated business woman; has a very close relationship with Greg; terrifies Jan
