The Atlantic String Machine, a collective of five classically trained string players, have been performing their eclectic mix of classical, pop, jazz and original compositions to delighted audiences since 2015. Based on Prince Edward Island, the ASM have been recognized for their talents with two awards to date from Music PEI, two recording grants, a touring grant plus a growing audience of regular fans.
The Atlantic String Machine will be touring British Columbia in April, performing in Victoria, Duncan, Cortes Island, and culminating in Vancouver where they have been invited to showcase at Pacific Contact 2018. This tour will highlight material from their album "Lost Time", which was nominated for Best Classical Album in 2017 East Coast Music Awards.
