At Home in the Starfields

This exhibition is the Victoria version of "At Home in the Starfields", a collection of works first exhibited at the Arts Council Gallery on Hornby Island in June, 2012.
Included will be acrylic paintings of mysterious bird's nests whirling through space, new works in the popular windswept landscape series. The new mixed media collages explore personal and archetypal experiences of interconnectedness, using images of bees and honeycomb,grassy meadows,birds,vessels,the world tree,the night sky, and alchemy.
Also included will be several works from early in the artist's career, featuring images inspired by the "divine feminine". It is interesting to see the continuity of this theme through various media and imagery over time, as the artist continues to invoke the powers of nature and the living mystery in which we all participate.
