Artwalk 2017: Code Switching December 2 & December 3 10 am - 5 pm
Celebrate the work of our teen collective! Teen artists from Code Switching will take over Art Lab for a two-day weekend exhibition in conjunction with Nanaimo Artwalk 2017. As part of Code Switching, this dedicated group of teens studies contemporary art practices embarks on excursions, participates in artist-led workshops, and creates their own work. This exhibition will feature their process and include diverse examples of their explorations in photography, sculpture, painting, video, creative writing and sound art.
This program is generously supported by The Edwina and Paul Heller Memorial Fund, held at Vancouver Foundation, and BC Art Council's Youth Engagement Program.
