Artspring Presents: Monad Dance Project-Paradise Lost?

Anna Haltrecht and Luis Araújo of Salt Spring’s Monad Dance Project have created Paradise Lost? No action is not an option, an event comprising of an art installation that merges video, soundscapes, performance art and improvisation.
Taking inspiration from Milton’s poem Paradise Lost and the life cycles of St. Mary Lake, this event aims to raise further awareness for the urgent need to preserve this invaluable resource (water) on our island. It creatively reflects on humankind’s environmental impact, the consequences and possible solutions.
Paradise Lost? No action is not an option – Four day event Schedule:
-February 24 and 27, 7:30 p.m. – Performance art event in gallery
Bar opens at 6:30 p.m.
-February 25 and 27, 12 – 5 p.m. – Environmental awareness talks and performance art workshops. Free.
