Vancouver writer, singer, comedian, poet, Ivan Coyote is above all a natural-born storyteller. Born in Whitehorse, Ivan grew up with the tradition of long cold nights of rambling tales in the kitchen while the blizzard raged outside. Ivan was 2011�s Carol Shields Writer-in-Residence at the University of Winnipeg as well as an award-winning author of six collections of short stories, one novel, three CD�s, four short films.

A renowned performer, Ivan�s first love is live storytelling, and over the last seventeen years Ivan has become an audience favourite at music, poetry, spoken word and writer�s festivals from Anchorage to Amsterdam. At ArtSpring Ivan performs with long-time collaborator, guitarist Jon Wood.

You can also buy tickets by calling or visiting the Ticket Centre at ArtSpring during our normal business hours Monday to Friday 10:00am � 4:00pm and one hour prior to show times. Please come to the ArtSpring ticket centre in person if you would like to purchase tickets during the one hour time-slot prior to a show as we are not often able to answer phone-calls at this time.
